How our wooden resting corner spoons are made
Hand-carved by Amish craftsmen in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, our 12” spatula/spoon combo is the ideal tool to keep the mess of cooking off of your kitchen counter. Our hanging tools are made from American black cherry, a hardwood native to the Eastern United States. It conveniently hangs from your favorite pots and pans and makes cooking easier and cleaner. The corner spoon design is a spoon and spatula combination that is perfect for almost anything from sauteing vegetables to making delicious sauces, chilies, or soups. Our notched spoons allow food to drip back into your pot rather than ending up on your counter.
Using your Lancaster wooden corner spoon
Wooden cooking utensils are ideal for use with your
Lancaster skillet and are excellent for use on any cooking surface. We value working with local lumber suppliers and craftsmen and each handmade utensil tells a small part of that story. Our passion is to design cooking tools that enrich your life through time spent making delicious food, enjoying home-cooked meals, and building relationships around the dining table.
Caring for your wooden corner spoons
Lancaster Cast Iron wooden spoons are oiled with food-grade mineral oil to preserve them for a lifetime of use in your kitchen. After each use, hand wash with warm soapy water and towel dry your wooden resting spoon. Periodically maintain with
spoon and board wax to keep the wood from drying out.
