Our cast iron handle cover is meant for stovetop use only and remains heat resistant up to 450 degrees. Starting out as a beautiful light brown, each leather hot handle holder will develop a unique patina over time. The natural absorption of oils will cause your cast iron pan handle cover to develop a stunning range of browns through continued use in your kitchen. Each leather cover is stitched with heat resistant thread and hand stamped with the Lancaster wagon logo. The initially tight fit on your Lancaster Skillet will eventually conform to the shape of the handle. The versatile design allows our leather handle cover to fit a variety of cast iron skillets including antique Griswolds and Wagners, as well as newer modern cast iron skillet brands.
