How our French rolling pins are made

Our French-style rolling pin is turned and sanded smooth by craftsmen here in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We're bringing tradition back to your kitchen with heirloom quality wooden and cast iron products made to last a lifetime. Our rolling pins are made from a single piece of wood, so no glue or adhesives are necessary.

Using your Lancaster French rolling pin

This rolling pin is ideal for rolling pizza, pastries, pies, cookies, and more. Cherry is a natural hardwood native to Pennsylvania. We recommend cleaning with warm soapy water and we use only food-grade mineral oil on our wooden kitchen products.

Caring for your wooden French rolling pin

Wooden rolling pins and other wooden cooking utensils should be washed by hand after each use and towel dried before storing. We recommend periodically applying wood wax to your utensils to keep them hydrated. This prevents your wooden utensils and kitchen tools from drying out and cracking and will allow them to last a lifetime in your kitchen.
